Digital Learning
Today’s digital natives need today’s digital tools to ensure a successful tomorrow. At TIS, we regularly update our digital technology to ensure our students have what they need to create digital texts and products, record reflections and samples of what they have learnt, research the internet and are able to communicate instantly with others around the world.
We are an Apple mac school with every student having wireless access to computers and iPads. Our middle school students receive their own laptop for exclusive use in every subject. We weave the design process into the various learning activities using technology. This is most obvious in our design technology lab.
One of our core responsibilities at TIS is give our students the technology tools they need, clear learning goals so they know what we expect them to achieve and guidance to support them in reaching our prescribed IT competency goals.
